Attn: MOMS! Anyone know how to get crayon out of clothing?

I washed a dryed my DDs clothes without checking her pockets (sham on me!). She had a big purple crayon in one of her jean pockets

and now all her clothes are ruined - covered in purple crayon.

I know it'' a long shot - but does anyone know if there is a way to get the crayon out of her clothing?

WD-40! Yes, REALLY!!!

I discovered this recently when I left a tub of shea butter in my pocket and washed and DRIED my WORK pants! HORRORS! A few squirts of WD-40 and all was well again. It comes in a pen form now so you don''t even have to drag out the big bottle.

Of course, you do have to wash a few times to get out the smell of the WD-40!

It definitely will work on chapstick! Just be sure not to put it in the dryer again until you know the stain is out. A couple of the spots had to be treated twice, or I missed some the first time. Not sure which it was. And yes, very glad it wasn''t YOU! I was so upset with myself because I knew that little tub of shea was missing and it didn''t even OCCUR to me that it was still in my pocket!!

Sorry, can''t help. But I have a product endorsement - colour wonder markers by crayola. They only write on the colour wonder paper, and not on clothes, walls, nothing!!!

Using Oxyclean probably would get rid of the WD-40 smell as it takes care of nearly EVERY odor.

I was going to say Oxyclean also....I have a 3 year old boy and it gets out almost all of his stains from his clothes
