I just wanted to tell you that your skeptical was spelled right
2.gif
and in the tense... skeptical would be correct. Skeptic is referring to someone "I am a skeptic" where as skeptical is used in "I am skeptical of the situation"

I noticed no one responded lol

ETA - I hope you don't think I was angry or picking on you in there, I was more trying to offer a different view point

Thanks DF. It was more an acknowledgment that my brain wasn''t working at that moment and I wanted people to be aware that I knew it could be wrong so they didn''t feel the need to start a new thread to call me out on it. HAHAHA, funny, you did that! But you''re nice about it

Really, reading this I totally see how it sounds (see how it sounds, is that possible?), but my response here isn''t meant to be bratty, I''m giggling with you. God my brain is shot today...

It''s b/c it''s Tuesday, mine is too.

And yes I get the see how it sounds... b/c I write them out in my head (how horrible is that?, blame it on a friend of mine who drilled grammar and English into my head).

I vote for nap time for all PS members who want it no matter what time of day

It''s one of those words that you easily spell correctly when typing, but it looks off. The k gets me I think.

Are these words that come up often in every day conversation for you?

My thoughts exactly. I actually LOL''ed at this... and poor SO is trying to sleep next to me.

Oh, wow. To be such a short little thread, that''s an impressive amount of laugh inducing!

I have a friggin'' BA in English, yet when reading, I still can''t read "know" and "now" correctly if they''re next to each other. As in, if a sentence says, "I now know that Upgradable has problems with diarrhea and hemorrhage," I''ll read it as "I know now that..."

Oh, and Upgradable, out of sheer curiosity, do you have problems with hemorrhoids, too?

hahahahah hilarious. I can''t EVER spell embarrass or restaurant (thank you spell check). My T9 never works because of those two words. gah

Doodle, what''s really sad is I was an English major with a writing/editing concentration and I''ve worked for years as an editor in the publishing industry. I swear my brain shuts off when I''m in a casual/social setting like PS.

I have problems with restaurant too and lately I keep wanting to say hellow instead of hello......
