FOR SETTING CONSIDERATION...

i like this one but would like yellow gold and yellow saffires under the hallow on the sides (not shank) does anyone recognise the designer that inspired this pic below or something similar more rounded pave?

But i would like to see anything similar you all have to suggest. i do like the combo of plat and a hint of YG and perhaps some yellow saffires but i will be likely getting this made from scratch so i can modify any suggesttions too both metals dont appear in your pic suggestion.

thankyou all sooo much i really appreciate your fine tastes and experience here.

Okay, I just have to say that when I read the title of your thread in the main page, it read "ATTEN: Jewelry connoisseurs HELP me choose my ass" (the rest was cut off) and I laughed so loud that I scared the guy in the next cube.

Unfortunately I can''t see any of the setting pictures, I get the red x.

As for the stones, have you seen them in person? I know you''ve probably read it a million times (because it''s true), but it''s impossible to choose an asscher by the numbers. That being said, the depth and table %s for the first two stones are very similar, and they virtually face up the same. I would probably go with the H color, but that''s just me. If you want a teeny bit more spread, then the I stone would be better, but in a 3-carat asscher you won''t notice the .08mm difference. I think i''d rule out the last one based on the large table.

hehe, do you think they will ban me already for asking for help choosing my "ass"?... good thing i didnt ask for help "picking" my ...

I am sure the asscher experts will chime in soon, but I would be hesitant concerning these colours, as asschers tend to show the colour more. I would sacrifice some size (eeekkkk) for even a G colour.

I agree with LitigatorChick about going a bit down on size for color. I only say this for 2 reasons: 1.) not only do step cuts show more color, but the larger the diamond, the more the color shows. If it were me (though I''m color sensitive and you might not be), I''d go for G in color and a smidgen smaller--it''s still going to be very large. 2.) The diamonds in the pave band you''re considering are G in color. Small round brilliants are going to appear much whiter than a 3-carat H or I asscher. I have an F asscher and G sidestones as well as G stones in my eternity band and I occasionally feel that the smaller brilliant cut stones look a tad whiter than my center stone.

check this out... wish this one was avail its sold already checked ...love the blue fluorescence demonstration at the end its soo unique and rare!~
