Asscher update

Hi, just thought I should give you an update on the asscher I posted about last week.

We went to see it yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful. It sparkled like mad, I could see every step on the way in, and the centre was gorgeous - no dead spots in there!!!.

Strm, I want to thank you for the time you spent looking and commenting on my images, and for the advice you have given everybody else on ps about asschers, without you I probably wouldn''t have found the perfect stone for me.

Garry, thank you too, your input and healthy arguments with strm gave extra perception on what I should be looking at.

Katamari & blackpolkadot, thanks again, your rings are so beautiful, hopefully I won''t have to wait too long before I have one too!!

KMCI, I'm so glad to hear you are in love with the diamond - the photos in your previous thread were lovely!

I know you're considering bezel setting it, and I have to tell you, I think it's the perfect way to bring out the shape of that gorgeous Asscher! Congratulations!

Thanks guys, I did consider getting it set with a halo, but after we tried some solitaires, I know it is going to be plenty big enough without, as my bf said "why would you want to hide that beautiful big stone under all those little ones??". My ring size is I 1/2, which I think is about 4 1/2 in US sizing.

Lauren, your rings are absolutely gorgeous, and have had a little something to do with the plain bezel idea. Flanked with sparkling wb''s, beautiful!!
