Good morning lovely Pricescopers!

I have an asscher three stone ring that needs to be sized due to weight loss (Yay!!!). However, I've never been happy with the setting--too "baskety", too high.

So, I'm looking for suggestions or links for a *very low* three stone setting which will also allow a wedding band without too much of a gap. I've been drawn to trellises, and also to bezels. Here are some pictures for reference.

I've posted about this before, and got a great suggestion about changing to a fie stone, and that *may* be an option, but I'd like to keep the costs down, know what I mean?

Any suggestions?

Thanks so much!

I think I am quick on the draw because I don't see pictures yet, But my vote is for the trellis. I was actually thinking of resetting my eternity band into that type of setting. There is something about the juxtopotion (i know that word isnt spelled right :? ) of the angles of the asscher and the curves of the setting that makes my heart flutter. By the way, it would ne simply stunning if you added 2 more baby asschers and made it a 5 stone :naughty:

good luck

See, I'm thinking five stone too. It was suggested by our lovely D&T for me earlier. Maybe I should just pull the trigger and do it?!?

How about low low low settings--any suggestions? Trellis? U prong? Would U prong even work if the stones are different sizes?

Thanks again!

I say five stone too! I like U prongs b/c you can see so much of the stone from the side.

Are you thinking five stone with 2 more asschers or 2 tapered traps?

I am sure you've thought of it, but make sure you have enough finger 'room' for 2 more stones(from side to side)---once the setting gets lowered it will widen out. A ring with prongs rubbing between my fingers really drives me nuts!

Can't wait to see what you decide on, I love asscher cuts(have a 3 stone myself) and have always thought about adding tapered traps for a 5 stones ring. I vote U-prong!!!
