I''m trying to buy an engagement ring for my gf who has hinted at asscher/square emerald as her cut of choice -- beyond that, I want to surprise her (and she wants me to surprise her), so I''m doing the rest of the work. I have read practically all of the previous posts regarding Asscher/Square Emerald diamonds, and learned a lot about what the numbers "should" look like, what to look for when viewing an asscher, etc., and have looked at a lot of diamonds online. I found a diamond at a brick and mortar store that I thought looked good, and am now about to pull the trigger . . . but I''m having some hesitation because, frankly, I''m a guy and don''t know what I''m doing. Below are all the stats I have. I realize the stats are only a small part of the equation, but unfortunately that''s all I have to share (no photos or fancy analytical image). Please please let me know if these numbers alarm anyone to issues that I should be looking out for (e.g., dimensions seem off, price seems off, or worse, both seem off). Thank you so much in advance.
