I am currently about to buy an Asscher Cut diamond very soon...and need to start turning some attention to the setting. I have done some research, and am most interested in a Solitaire setting, Platinum, simple, to show off this gorgeous cut. No pave or bagets.

The diamond will be somewhere around the 1.5 carat size...E-F color...no florescence...and her finger size is a 5. Anyone have hand picts with their asscher they wanna show off in this type of setting in or near that size finger to help me get a picture of what it would look like?

I also wanted a solitaire to make the asscher the superstar. Mine is much smaller, but here is my SMTR thread.

Thanks kmci! Thats really pretty! I will say my gf is more a fan of the traditional "tiffany like" settings...that being said there are so many of them! :-0
