Asscher or Emerald cut for my five stone? And which vendor?

I love step cuts and don't have any yet. For my RHR, I'm thinking about five stone ring, either EC or Asscher. I'm a size 5, so I think .30 stones will be perfect. ECs are my first love and I especially love the way they flash at larger sizes, but I'm worried that at such a small size they won't be very sparkly, so I am considering Asschers.

I have talked to both IDJ and Diamonds By Lauren, and I believe they both could do the project at about the same price. I want sparkly white stones, the lowest possible profile setting, platinum, minimal metal. Any thoughts on EC vs Asscher and IDJ vs DBL for this project would be much appreciated!

I personally want the best cut stones so I used Good Old Gold to source my asscher for a right hand ring. They definitely have access to some good cutters, but I am not sure how small they can access. I am not recalling any rings from IDJ and DBL with asschers at the moment, although MayK did get a nice EC stone from DBL.

A project after my own heart!!! I have a five stone e-w EC band, but still want a N-S EC or asscher either 5-7 stone or eternity.
I was considering getting quotes in the fall and haven't made a decision on style. I'm leaning toward asschers though since I already have EC rings.

I wanted an asscher ring either like the Sasha Primak trellis or an eternity band. Have spent a ridiculous amount of time visiting these sites! I still plan to get one, as soon as budget allows. I'll be watching your project.

I vote asschers!!!!

I was trying to put up my pictures when i was deciding on asscher v carre eterntiy. but i am still having difficulty posting pictures on PS. i didnt have a problem yesterday... UGHH!!!
