Asscher on fire

After a month of waiting, I finally got my (generic) asscher e-ring back from the Bondanza, the ring designer. It really is gorgeous. I have been keeping it in my office until the time comes to propose, and have been frequently taking it out to gaze at it for protracted periods of time. While it looked pretty nice in not-so-great flourescent lighting, when I took it outdoors on my lunch break it was practically on fire in direct sunlight. What a difference! Even the .15 side baguettes were scintillating.

Just wanted to share my supreme happiness with this beautiful stone from Whiteflash, and my thanks to you all for helping me find this gem. Will have pictures to share once I put it on her hand.

Ha. You got me. I did give her the ring on Friday, and she absolutely loves it. I have been wrestling with digital photography, and sadly, the pictures don''t do justice to the ring, but I will be uploading some this morning.
