Hi everyone - I''ve learned so much from the postings from everyone - Thank you so much! I just had an Asscher cut (5 steps) called in by WF. I''d love to get some opinions on the ideal scope and the other pics....

Thanks Again and looking forward to the feedback...

I love the wide corners

Thanks! - I thought the wide corners were a good characteristic for this cut, along with the 5 steps?? I''m obviously new at this game, and trying to learn quick so I''m not entirely sure how to view the ideal scope picture - I''ve noticed others that are much more RED than this picture without as many light areas. I''ve tried to compare with ideal-scope.com and the ideal section for fancey cut diamonds, but they didn''t specifically have an asscher cut to reference as to what an ideal cut looks like.

Bob H. at WF really liked the diamond, and said it had a nice pooling effect.

I forgot to post the GIA info on this one....

Asscher 1.61 G VS1 GIA TK N VG VG N 69.5 64 6.50x6.33x4.40 Ratio 1.03:1

Thanks again!!!

I know nothing but that stone looks gorgeous! Don''t forget to post pics when it''s done!!!

Wonderful - glad to hear you think so - do you think there are any weak points to this stone?

Well, thanks for the positive comment!
