I know not a lot but with this is there anything that scares someone away?

I''m no expert, but I think the length to width ratio is off. Shouldn''t asschers be square?

UGL appraisal? I''ve never heard of such an organization...this is a private appraisal by the company who''s selling you the diamond...nothing more. If you do decide to pursue this stone, make sure there''s some type of return policy & definitely get a 2nd appraisal from the appraiser of YOUR choice to make sure that the UGL appraisal is accurate.

not square
table too big
shallow and big table == shallow crown == avoid
ugl? and no other cert, no way.
so yea there is a lot of things that scare me off.

I would pass, way off square, VG/VG, and a UGL cert....

gia vg/vg is fine in an asscher, the problem is who knows what ugl vg/vg is.
As I see more asschers im more ok with gia vg/vg i havent seen a eye vissible problem with meet points or polish in a vg/vg asscher yet.

Hello!

I have a "cut corner square emerald cut" Asscher style diamond graded by GIA.

I have heard of UGL, but not many great things...

I would worry about the measurements....They are way off for an Asscher cut style diamond. I would also worry about the color. I have an "I" but it is GIA cert., I have heard that UGL is not as reputable...so an I/J for UGL may be a lower grade for GIA.

Anyway, I would look around for a better cut GIA cert. first.

I say keep looking and find one with a GIA cert. Those numbers are off, and UGL scares me.

Who could possibly want an UGLy stone?
