It's our 15th year wedding anniversary and we're upgrading my stone - exciting! We're looking for the best stone for the best price (of course!) and came upon this one at a really good price. It's an EGL, not a GIA as we'd wanted originally, but it's price is lower for more stone.

Any opinions about whether these dimensions are good or not?

Depth - 66.1
Table - 70
Crown - 8
Pavillion - 55
Very Good Polish
Very Good Sym
8.33x8.28x5.47

Also, is EGL a solid color grade down?

Thanks,
Jodi

1> which egl? usa? ca? isreal? other?
2> the cut infomation you provided indicates its a dog. Which is why it was likely sent to egl in the first place.
3> the numbers only give an indication and about 20% of the information needed.
Good photos or seeing it in person are needed to judge the patterns.

Jodi you may have read about why %'s and #'s dont help with Princess cuts.
Asschers are even worse as they have 3 sets of crown and pavilion #'s - not just 2 each!!!

Personally though I prefer table sizes around 60% or even less

Get us an ideal-scope photo and we can offer an opinion.

This is the new AGS ASET multi colored Ideal-Scope in action
