Asscher diamond percentages... need advice please!!!!!

Hi All,

I bought an asscher diamond but am a little unsure about the percentages..I don''t have the exact details in front of me but this is roughly what it is..

Shape: Asscher
Carat: 1.5
Clarity: VVS2
Colour: F
Depth: 56%
Table: 65%
Polish: VG
Symmetry: VG

I''m a little concerned that the depth percentage is a little on the small side. How does this affect the diamond? Is this a bad thing?
I know that these are not traditional cut asscher percentages but does it really make a difference to the diamond? I saw the diamond yesterday and it looks nice and bright.

Asschers have many different crown and pavilion angles. % data is not much help. Have you compared it to other diamonds? Does it have nice patterns that pull you into the stone?
All diamonds sparkle, especially when clean in jewellery shop lights

Whats the girdle rated at?
with a 65% table and that depth id want to check crown height it should be over 10%.
otherwise if the patterns draw you in under diffused lighting and it dazzles you with fire under direct light then consider buying it.

yes.. sorry forgot to put in the crown height. It''s definetly over 10% .. about 14. And I think the girdle may be thick. This ok?
