Pretty much set on the following stone, mostly cause I loved it in person, adored it on my setting of choice, the spread is great and the price was right within budget ... but am curious about determining it's crown angle. Have seen a lot of calcs. for round, princess etc ... but is there a way to determine crown height & angle based on the depth, table, circumf. #s in this GIA report. Also, does the fact the report was done so long ago concern anyone? THANKS for checking it out!

www.goldajewelry.com/Stone.asp?id=1466

p.s. (lemmie add that any other stone that's caught my attention has been THOUSANDS not hundreds more, & therefore unaffordable)

e.t.a. .. what's the trick to making "links" ... neither www. I tried to make link worked right??

cant be calculated but if you look at it from the side and think that crown looks high then its usualy good.
Asschers can be totaly judged with the eyeballs.
So if it trips your trigger I dont see why not.

By the numbers its not one id be interested in but if you like the look then kewl.
I like tha smaller table look.
The date is not an issue. Asschers dont sell as fast as rounds.
