Hi everyone, I'm new to pricescope! I am now in search of an emerald cut diamond for my engagement, and I have limit down to one specific diamond already.

It's a 3.30 ct, E/IF, ex ex none, with table of 61%, depth 67.3%, thin to medium girdle, measurement 9.89 x 7.48 x 5.03 mm. Comments read surface graining is not shown & minor details of polish are not shown. Its asking price is US97,000.

Can some experts give me some comments about this stone? I was told that this diamond was a VVS but it was transferred to another lab later for an upgrade to IF. Also, even though it's an IF but since there's surface graining so it will decrease its value. I was told that the value of this diamond is at most US90,000. Since it is a meaningful ring for me so I really want it to be perfect with a reasonable price, I really need some pointers on this issue.

Your professional advice will be much appreciated!! :D

Sounds like an amazing stone! Please post magnified images. I don't think anyone can really give an opinion from the measurements only.

Is this clear enough? It's the clearest one that I have though.

Which lab(s) issued the grading report(s)? Do you have the report number(s)?

It's GIA and the laser inscription registry no is GIA 2135945135, dated November 16, 2011

Unfortunately, it is hard to tell much about the cut from that picture. Does it have little diamonds on the setting around the stone?

It looks beautiful as far as I can tell!

Well, it is a loose stone, but, if i've decided to buy, i'm suggested to put two 0.20 baguette each on each side.

Hi CaratLover2, thanks for your suggestion. And i really love this setting. I'm going for this setting as well but without the two round side stones since I have really small hands. I have already confirmed with my dealer today with the aforementioned diamond. After some checking, I think the price is really reasonable and he's an honest person. Anyway, thanks a lot! ;)
