Nice IS image, the only way to know if the inclusion will be visible or not is to ask the vendor. It might be fine as it is VS2 clarity but best to check.

The diamond looks great! And yes, just ask about the inclusion.

Wendy,
To my wholly untrained and novice eye, it looks like a great IS image. You can trust that it is if Lorelei and Ellen say so. My questions to the latter two, for my own education:
(1) Does it look like there''s a little extra leakage between 12:00 & 1:00, and between 1:00 & 2:00?
Ditto Jet, the image is tilted and we see this commonly - if you look closely you can see it. The arrow shafts just past 12 o'clock are shorter, this is a result of the diamond being tilted when the image was taken.Date: 6/13/2009 2:24:50 PM

The diamond is tilted slightly in the IS image. If the stone was better aligned with the camera, that area would be a nice even pink/red.
Jason don''t worry, these things aren''t always obvious!Date: 6/13/2009 2:32:25 PM

Ah, yes, I should have noticed that.![]()
It''s one thing to notice the tilt, another to know how it may affect the IS image. The only way to learn is to ask the questions--and you asked a very good one. All of us here started knowing nothing about diamonds at some point and have learned from the others.Date: 6/13/2009 2:32:25 PM

Ditto, if there is anything you want to know Jason don't be afraid to ask! We all had to start somewhere as the saying goes and learning is a continuous process for us all.Date: 6/13/2009 2:43:14 PM

Thanks for the encouragement. There''s just so much to learn, but I''ll keep asking if you keep answering! I have to absorb as much as possible so I feel ready when I start shopping in earnest--very soon--for a very special someone.![]()
It will be reserved for you Wendy so the diamond is unavailable for purchase by others until Monday now.Date: 6/13/2009 3:23:26 PM
