Ashoka Diamond reset

I have a 1 ct Ashoka diamond that is set in an East-West bezel pendant. I don't like the bezel because it is thick and shadows the diamond. (I think it looks like the Tiffany bean, which I love, but not in a diamond)! I am thinking about setting it in a dainty rose gold halo, also east-west. It is H color, so I think rose gold would be really pretty. I wanted to get opinions and suggestions from this esteemed group I requested a quote from Leon Mege, but I would welcome any other ideas or input. Plus, what do y'all think is a reasonable budget? I am at the very beginning of this project and since it is a 40th birthday present for myself, I am looking at it as fun and no-pressure. Thanks for any input!

Is this something you will want to wear everyday? If so, what is your life style? I love the halo settings but depending on your life/clothing style you might find it a bit too much for everyday wear.

I will likely wear it most days. I used tor change jewelry more, but I'm lazy thesender days! My job is ridiculously sedentary, so I'm not too worried about that. I did think about just thinning out the bezel as another alternative. Here are pics of the back and side of it....

For everyday wear I like a bezel. Maybe just a more delicate one in the rose gold.

Hello, have you checked out William Goldberg facebook ? there is a beautiful Rose Gold ring on the front page, I think a claw setting with maybe surprise diamonds on the claws would be fine for daily wear.. I love Ashoka diamonds.. yours is lovely.. Please come back with the new setting!
