I had five figures before the dot invested in stock in Ashford.com. The stock is now worthless.
Does that tell you something about the company? It looked like a good bet when they first got started. NOT!
Stick with one of the internet companies here on pricescope.
They will be around when you need them.

I am not a "watch guy" but I would make sure that it came with all the papers, the box and warranty. I would also make sure that it is not a "gray market" watch. A gray market watch is a watch sold in other countries but not the United States. Omega sells different watches in different countries. Trying to get an Omega watch serviced in the United States that is only sold in another country will be a problem.

I am chinese and i found out that for some special high end watch you could
get better deals there.(no wonder HK is the shopping paradise
For instance,the same style called oyster with 10 diamonds on it,
the price gap is 1,200$.( both are authorized dealer.one is in HK and another
is here in states.) kind of weird,why?
I visited ashford.com today and my intuition told me that it must have
something to do with diamond.com. no reasonable reason,but,it is ture or
not?
At last,i have to thank all you guys here.While i was learning how to pick
a diamond,i am learning english too. (so forgive my poor writing
)
