ASET "reading" help

I am trying to understand how to make the most out of the ASET image. Can someone explain why one of these may be better. I just tried to find two good examples:

My reading may be more impressionistic than skill-based...but I'll bet you can follow along.

Interesting that they're both ACAs.

#1...more red, very symmetrical
#2, more green, it's hungry.

I like #1.
