Hi all, thought I''d share some of the pictures from our special day. It really was the perfect day. I know everyone has their own individual tastes and ideas about what makes a wedding perfect, but I can''t imagine changing a single thing.



Guess I''ll just go in order. Please forgive me for posting so many photos. It is SO hard to choose my favorites.

Getting ready..

Garter that my dear mother made. It had a fleur de lis on it.

Headed to the chapel. We had to walk across the street. No big deal. I had to pick up my dress and carry it.

LOVED my veil. It looked like antique lace.

Decorated aisle. Our theme was lace, pearls, and roses.

In the "holding room" waiting to get married. This was about 10 minutes before the wedding. I didn't get nervous until I got in this room, and then I d*mn near passed out. Thank goodness for awesome bridesmaids, eh? Mine were the best.

One of my girls played Lady Gaga from her phone (ha) and we all sang to keep me from losing it.

Headed in with dear old dad. I didn''t cry during the ceremony but OMG I really almost lost it coming down the aisle seeing Mr. P for the first time. I kept it together though. Go me.

The big moment. For the record, we got married in a little chapel on a college campus. My dad has worked at the college for almost 35 years. We were able to get married there for FREE. Yes, like zero dinero! I probably wouldn''t have picked it otherwise, but I had lots of amazing folks who helped me turn the chapel into the perfect venue. It looked great the day of!

Hubs'' cake! Of course he had Saints decor on his table. That cake was so good. OMG.

You looked gorgeous! Congratulations!

I lol''d at your use of the term "beast mode." My husband uses that to describe when he gets tons of cleaning done in a short amount of time. Or when our male cat Charlie tears around the house at top speed, going nowhere in particular. Hilarious!

BTW I love the straight-forward red, white, and black color scheme -- it''s very effective and refreshing. And the color of your BM dresses is just perfect. But as beautiful as your veil is (and it is) I was just a teeny tiny bit disappointed to see it, and not the little black hat in your avatar!
