Time for an unusual handmade setting for my old friend, a 0.60 round. I've been scouring the internet without success. When I do find something, for instance on Etsy, they won't use the customer's stone. I'm looking for something in rose gold,[perhaps floral, vines or leaves w/tiny diamond accents. I am tempted to just do a delicate halo with pave band, but want to explore all my options first.
Does anyone know of a great custom ringmaker?

A couple that come to mind are Green Lake Jewelers and Hunt Country Jewelers- both do custom with customer's stones and can certainly do the type of ring you're wanting.

Brilliant! I found a design I loved in about 2 seconds and started a custom design page with GLJ.
Now to check out HCJ...
thanks!

You're welcome =)
GLJ does beautiful work- but they are pricey. Hunt Country is generally easier on the wallet, love that their gold is all recycled and they do a lovely rose gold, but their designs are usually a little more "organic"- and their production times can be quite long. Hope you keep us in the loop with your design.

I'm so glad I posted my questions this morning! I'm getting to see some wonderful rings as a result. I love David's work and all that repurposing is giving me ideas :naughty:

I have a pair of rb studs [same color as the 0.60] that might actually enjoy life more as side stones than sitting in a box.
This is exciting...and thanks.
