Back in the deep dark depths of time, when dinosaurs roamed the earth, and dirt was new - when I was a junior in high school, I took French from a teacher of the name of Mr. Marcotte, a good French name if ever there was one, although he was standard fare Okie as far as I recall - not first generation or anything. Anyway, at one point he was showing us pictures of his trip to the Louvre. There was a painting there entitled Madame Marcotte, and under it was his wife, also Madame Marcotte, looking as close or closer than any of the dopplegangers above. The teacher was clearly still a bit freaked by it you could tell, and it kinda creeped out the whole class. I've never forgotten it.

This was the picture. And her face looked exactly like this, not a resemblance, more like the same woman. (hairdo a bit different of course, but still, curly).

DH probably won't love me sharing, by an old picture from what I think is a wax museum. I wish it was a better angle because the resemblance is pretty close. Especially now after he's had nose surgery and his hairline is receding a bit more.

When my dh was younger I thought he was a cross between Robert Redford and Paul Newman. But I might have been biased.

Anyway a little resemblance don't you think?
(Personally I think my dh is even more handsome but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?)
