I have always been a coloured stone and antique ring lover at heart, but 20 years ago I didn't know about PS or the option of coloured stone engagement rings! My husband and I decided to sell my Canadian diamond engagement ring and we upgraded to this past, present and future three stone ring. It is from the 1920s and consists of an old cut 2.47 (8.22 x 5.79 x 5.7 mm) unheated hot purplish pink Burmese pink sapphire in 18k with 2 OEC diamonds. The sapphire is in 18k yg and the rest of the ring is platinum. I bought it from Gatsby Jewelers in the UK (Jade is delightful to work with) It fits like a glove and I don't think it will ever come off my left hand! I thought it looked better on my middle finger than my ring finger - it seems more balanced. If it is on my ring finger thr wraps on the sides wouls not show. So here is my new wedding ring! We have three girls so it is fitting that way too! It comes with a GCS Report. I have posted some glamour shots from the vendor. I adore the coronet setting, the chunky facets, everything about it! My photos make it seem less saturated than it is. It is a very lively stone with an inner fire that is always lit!
