:wavey: This is my first time buying a vintage piece of jewelry! I'm super excited :lol-2: I purchased this piece with the description of Art Deco era. It's set in 14k white gold. There are no other markings on the band besides 2 stamps "14k"
I'm just curious as to if it seems to any of you to like it would be from that era or something later? I love the piece no matter what. I'm very curious to its history

So here are the specs I have....1.5-2mm rose cut diamonds. 9 stone .50 tcw

Congrats on your first piece of vintage jewelry! Your band is lovely. I really like jewelry that has history. I associate rose cuts more with the Georgian and Victorian periods than than Deco. It's also interesting that it is 14k white gold as I've seen more platinum or yellow gold topped with plat or silver than white gold in Deco jewelry. The setting, to me, looks more 1940s than Deco. I'm just a hobbyist so I hope one of the PS experts chimes in.

Not an expert here either but I'm thinking 1940's. The profile is very similar to my mother's wedding band and she was married in 1949. It's a lovely ring!

Thank you both. I too was thinking it might be a later time frame since it is white gold :)

I guess it is the 40s style. The stones can be older and reset in the current setting.
