Are you bad at estimating size?

i am. I thought the Eiffel Tower was the same size in vegas as in Paris. My husband is 6 ft and I had no idea. This leads me to wonder: what about my diamond?

Yes. I mean, until I get my hands on it. I imagine it's similar to when a man gets his hands inside a padded bra.

Diamonds and carat size, like just eyeballing carat weight? Eh...Sometimes I can call it, mostly based on what other demographics I know about the wearer/couple, but sometimes I can't! Fancy shapes are my downfall. I couldn't tell the difference between a 1.5 ct pear and a 3 carat, I don't think.

I'm hopeless re. People, can't guess hight well... but I'm especially bad when it comes people gaining/ losing weight. Convenient for them on the way up (the scale), but I have heard some people where disappointed when I didn't comment on a 2/3 kg or even morw weight loss... sorry, didn't really notice...

I read in the newspaper today that if the Earth is the size of a grain of sand, then in comparison, the sun is the size of an orange. Amazing!

I don't even try to give measurement guesses on anything. If I do it's in feet and inches, and my daughters are strictly meters and centimeters. Two completely different systems although I am better on length in metric vs weight. Ugh.
