@missy very much so, and much to my mum's pain as I seldom listen to a word she says!
I do not believe or feel the need to conform, except perhaps to comply with the expectations of my profession being a healthcare professional so as not to bring them into disrepute.
I do not do things with the intention to shock, however, I am unconventional and do not believe in "traditions".

This is very similar to me. I do my own thing and feel no need to conform. Never have even when I was young. But yes I practiced according to the rules so to speak, of my profession. But in my personal life I march to the beat of my own drum. Or however that saying goes. And it doesn’t bother me if others don’t agree or approve. I don’t need anyone’s approval.
I was a bit when I was a teen, but I relaxed by the time I hit 18. A lot of my family think I am rebellious still but that's because they see me still wearing heavy metal band shirts at the age of 32, however that's more just a quirky personality trait than anything nowadays. I'm a dad, a husband, I work two jobs and enjoy my hobbies on the weekend when I've earned my time off. Not too much that's rebellious about that![]()
Some of those shirts are very nice!![]()
