If an expert selection stone was purchased loose and set by WF, does it quailify for the trade up policy? I looked on the website but didn''t see if those stones qualify.

Thanks.

AGS and GIA are, not EGL.

I've done it with a virtual inventory stone that was brought in for review and recommended. It was then resold as an ES.

So, yes, ES are upgradable as are stones they bring in from the virtual inventory if they are reviewed and recommended at time of purcahse. At least this is what I did and will probably do more in the future!

Whiteflash says any stone they sell has a lifetime trade-in policy. They credit you 100% of the original purchase price. It''s on their website under Frequently asked Questions.

Ellen is right; it''s not any stone we sell. EGL diamonds don''t qualify and nor do outside diamonds we don''t recommend.

Because nearly all ES stones come with AGS/GIA paper and our recommendation, they are upgradeable.

Thanks Alj.

They didn''t mention the types of stones and that is why I asked.

Thanks everyone. The stone I''m thinking of upgrading in a few years is an AGS

I think they ought to reword the info on their website to specify what is not upgradeable.
