what percentage of the world''s diamonds are cut in the US?

There are cutting facilities in the US. We cut mostly larger stones, but I have no idea of the percentage.

when you say larger stone, 2+ ct? i would imagine it gotta be a pretty low percentage with all those manufactures in india, china, belgium, russia.

note that that pie chart is by value--by volume, india cuts more than 90% of the world's diamonds because they cut a lot of very small stones.
