Are Prongs Secure

1) I like this 7 stone ring I saw on one of the vendors sites (possibly Blue Nile or other). It appears that each diamond is only secured by TWO prongs. Is this setting secure? Or is it safer to be looking at FOUR prong settings. I'm attracted to it because it looks lighter.

2) I also saw another 7 stone ring at my local brick and mortar store. The prong design is similar except they run NORTH-SOUTH as opposed to the attached ring which run EAST-WEST.

Thoughts anyone? Thanks!

I can't speak about any particular seller's item- but I can say that a two prong style can indeed be secure- if done properly.
 
That is a knock off of Memoire's Purity Collection. I KNOW Memoire's are safe as houses as they are done right. I love this style personally, and would buy it. BN has a good reputation and their jewelry is usually well constructed, and they have a great return policy. So yes, I would consider a piece from them.
