Are diamond crystallization patterns visible to the naked eye?

Hello, thank you for reading my post. This is from an article about lab grown diamonds.
“Natural diamonds possess unique characteristics that some consumers value:
Growth patterns: Natural diamonds exhibit crystallization patterns formed over billions of years”.
My question is, are these crystallization patterns visible to the naked eye if a diamond is set in a ring? Does it depend on the size of the diamond?

Growth patterns can be visible (and can be very detrimental to light return and optical performance) if there are abnormal patterns which present as graining - this can happen with diamonds of either origin.

Graining and light scattering are the biggest factors of why I dislike and will never recommend cheaper and sloppier CVD method LGDs.

Thank you, as always, DejaWiz!
