Are .90 (each ear) studs that much bigger visually than .75?

Do you think there is a signifigant size difference between .75 & .90 (each ear) studs?

I have it narrowed down to 1.5 ct (.75 each ear) or 1.80 (.90) each ear. I couldn't find locally .90 stones but only 1ct (each ear), so I'm having a little trouble telling how different .75 vs. .90 would be.

Would you tell a huge difference on the ear between the .75 each ear & the .90 each ear? There's a pretty good price difference and .75 is the same size as my solitaire pendant, so I'm leaning toward that. But the call of "bigger is better" does come to mind. The clarity is the same and the color's very close, so that isn't the issue for me it's the size.

What would you do & why - go with the .75 (each ear) that match my .75 pendant or go with the .90 in each ear?

If your lobe is big enough to support a .90 in each ear, I'd go that route. That way, DSS is less likely to rear it's ugly head.

Unless the .90 is overwhelming in a bad way- id go for it. I think it will certainly be a noticeable size difference from the .75 to the .90

How big are your earlobs? That makes a huge difference in how the diamonds will look on your ears. If you have tiny lobes, I think .75 may look better...if you have larger lobes, than .90 would be ideal.

Have you tried some on at a local mall jeweler to get an idea? Some have decent enough cut to give you a good idea of what high-cut quality studs will look like when on.
