Hey strmrdr..., do you remember how much was Gold-Silver-Platinum, oil when you joined PS??
gold - 375 ish - today 679 ish
silver 5.50 ish - today 13.39
plat. $650 ish - today $1290
oil - $30 ish - today $65.06

but comparing commodity prices to decoration prices isn''t right, comparing them to other luxury consumer goods is better.

Can someone make a comparison between the asking price of a three (3) carat RB D-F / VVS-IF from a year ago vs. now?

Should be interesting...

The oil thing really scares me. My gas, grocery, and electric bill have trippled. I have no idea what I''m going to do if it gets any higher...

yep thank you .gov and the eroding of the manufacturing base.

A cleaned up saying that reflects whats wrong with the US economy....
An economy cant survive that produces nothing and is based on mutual back rubs because nothing of value is produced.
