Approximate Wait Time - between order & on my finger

We''ve decided to get our ring online. We wanted to know what is the approximate wait time between when we pick one out/order it and when we will get it. For the following vendors:

BGD
WF
GOG
etc. - if people can suggest more great.

Also, presumably the diamond we pick will be in the vendor''s inventory.

If both setting and diamond is available, it could be a matter of 1 day to a few days. It also depends on their bench person's back log but the turnaround time is usually very quick and shipping is always Next Day.

I just placed a special order with WF and they told me mid Aug or sooner.

Also depends on if you get a designer setting. Some, like D''Vatche, set it themselves (and won''t let the jeweler), and that can take 3-4 weeks.

It also depends on if you decide to view the stone unset first. When I ordered my Crafted by Infinity stone from Wink at High Performance Diamonds link
I first spoke to Wink on the phone about the stone; he had the stone shipped out to me (which took a day or two). I took the stone to an independent appraiser, decided to keep the stone, and decided on a setting. When I knew I wanted a Vatche setting, I spoke to Wink on the phone about it, and Wink called the Vatche rep while I was on the phone with him, so we could ask the Vatche rep some questions about the setting, timeline, etc.

Wink arranged for me to ship the stone to Vatche for setting. Vatche set the stone and shipped it to Wink and Wink shipped it to me. All told, it took maybe a week from the time I shipped the stone to Vatche and the time I got the finished ring from Wink. It was much faster than I expected. My setting is very plain, with no pave or channel set diamonds, however, so if you are ordering a setting that needs to be custom designed in any way, I expect it could take longer. I also heard that some companies shut down for a period of time in the summer -- but I'm not sure if this affects any of the vendors here.

We''re thinking of a standard setting like Tiffany knife edge. I hear some (ie, BGD) makes it to order, so want to know the approx wait time.

You just need to call. It varies ALL the time and setting by setting too. One person might have to wait a month for theirs but they might be able to do a different one in a few days.
