Appraisers

Does anyone know of an appraiser in the Memphis TN area? I''m guessing not - butit doesn''t hurt to ask. I know about one in Franklin but that is close to a 3 hour drive for me. Memphis would be much closer. Thanks for any help!

Thanks Skippy. That''s the one that is a 2.5-3 hour drive from my home. It has been suggested I could take the day and go shopping! By the time I drive to Franklin and then back home, pay the appraiser, spend money shoping, etc., I might as well just take the leap of faith and buy the diamond and view it myself during the "return" period of time!

One or both of are may be qualified, however I cannot say if either is working as an Independent appraiser or in a retail store. They are both NAJA members. Mr. Gattas has a more advanced membership title.
