Appraisers...

Hi all,
I looked at the section of the PS site with Appraisers info...has anyone in the Los Angeles area used any of them, or have anyone else you recommend? I really want to use Patrick Davis (seems very knowledgable and his rates are the best) but he is going out of town and I need to have it appraised before he gets back, due to the 14 day return I have on my ring. The other one I really like is Paul Thompson, but he charges $150 for an apprasel...does this seem high?

If anyone has had personal experience with anyone in LA who you''d recommend, please let me know.

I worked with Jennifer Thornton-Davis, and it was a positive experience!

As PS noted, do a search, and you''ll find lots of feedback on MANY appraisers.

$150 sounds reasonable for a comprehensive report.
