Hi Folks,

I saw this link on PS that shows Appraisers in my State (CA)
https://www.pricescope.com/appr_list.aspx?st=CA

My question is. If I find one listed on that link are they all considered PS approved?

I have narrowed down to this one: www.jewelryappraiser.net

But want to make sure that it is a PS recommended vendor that I schedule my appraisal with.

Thanks!

Nancy Stacy has a lot of positive feedback also.

Ditto.

Thanks John for the link. Great information I will take with me to my appraisal. Thanks Karl for that. This gives me total peace of mind I''m going to someone who will be great for me.

Thanks Kaleigh for the nod on the Appraisal as well. I''ve reached out to him to schedule my appointment and I look forward to learning all I can about my ER!

Thanks!!

Sure thing. I''m acquainted with several of those CA appraisers and agree - Nancy Stacy is terrific.

Hey All,
Just wanted to get clarification. I emailed the one appraiser for an appointment and he stated that his Sarin Machine is currently out for repairs but he can do the rest of the appraisal for me and light analysis on the Aset Camera. My question is, should I wait until he has his Sarin Machine back in? I''m not sure what that machine is for, or will I get enough info and worth out of the appraisal without it?

Thanks,

Triple, is it for this?

Unless the appraiser will examine a loose diamond, I don't think a sarin machine would be used anyway. Also, if you have a certificate from either AGS, GIA...or even possibly other grading agencies, this becomes less important, especially since, if the data presented is at variance from what's on the certificate, you'd tend to presume what's on the certificate is more correct anyway.

Though, if GIA, or especially EGL, and if loose, I would value this double check...along with the use of a reflector technology (and it sounds like the ASET WILL be engaged).

Hi Thanks so much for the answer. Yes it is for my ER, so that makes sense since its not a loose diamond its not needed.

Thanks, I feel much better scheduling this appointment now.
