I wish I found this forum before I purchased!!!

I have a Gemscan certificate, and while it says VS2, I can see an inclusion with my eye (I have better than 20/20 vision), so it makes me think it''s SI1... I''m thinking about going to Harold Weinstein, but I''m not sure if I can get a full assessment with the ring set (I''d love to see the red pictures for the hearts and arrows!).

So, really, for those in Toronto, is it worth my time to go to Weinstein, or should I just get it insured, put it on her finger, and forget about it?

Follow-up. HW equalled GemScan (actually and instead of a G colour, put it F/G, and sized the stone a bit bigger).

And the other thing I learned about insurance: your contents coverage of your home policy should be 2x what the replacement value is. Otherwise they won''t do it.
