Appraisers in Rockland or Westchester Counties?

My friend needs an appraiser for an engagement ring. She's getting the loose stone set next weekend. Can anyone recommend a good independent appraiser in Westchester or Rockland NY?

Also, she lives in Philly and might be OK with bringing the ring to an appraiser there (but she's getting it set in NY and wants to get it appraised right away). I know about Dave Atlas, but are there any other recommended appraisers closer to Center City?

I live in New York and used Mark Yakubov last week to get my ring appraised. He is excellent and shared a lot of his knowledge about the diamond with us. He was very patient and answered all questions we had and took the time to explain everything about our stone.
I recommend him highly if your friend is looking in NY. He is located at 37 West 47th Street Suite 202. Call and make an appointment to see him if your interested.
