Can someone recommend a good independent appraiser in NYC (Manhattan)? The pricescope list only comes up with one and I''d like a couple to compare before I choose one. Thanks!

ok, other than being able to actually babysit my diamond during it''s appraisal, is there an advantage to using someone local??
