Appraisal In NYC

A coworker is having a setting made by Leon Mege which apparently is just about completed. He purchased his stone from GOG and was sent an appraisal for the stone from GOG.

He wants to get the completed ring appraised for insurance purposes. Are there any appraisers in NYC that fellow pricescopers have used and would recommend for this purpose? I would assume that he would need to forward a copy of the stones appraisal to aid in the final appraisal?
