Appraisal HELP!

im engaged!! My bf propsed with a beautiful ring from WF (The legato)

Okay so for my question. I am planning on having this ring appraised for insurance reasons and I have a couple questions:

1. Can I bring a copy of my GIA grading report i/o the original (my fiance has the original and I wanted to do it today)??
2. Will they take the diamond out of my ring during appraising??

Any help would be grealy appreciated. Thanks!

you can bring a copy of the report...the appraiser will verify the information.
And no, the diamond will not be removed.
