I tried to get some decent pictures of my bling. It really is quite tricky as I have an older camera and don't know much about photography. Here we go...
Raspberry Bliss- you have a BEAUTIFUL collection of lovely diamonds!!! Are you keeping your 3 stone trellis afterall??? I love that - I hope you get to keep it!
Your hand shot of your wedding set ---- CLASSIC!!! Perfect!
Thank you all for the sweet comments on my bling. You all have some amazing pieces if I might add! Can I play dress-up in your jewelry boxes, please?? I would love to do GTG if I lived close enough to anyone.
I am really loving my classic solitaire and band. It is so easy to wear! I'd eventually like to get other stacking bands to pair with it. You know...that is not what I started out with, go figure. My original ering had a 1.49 ct. marquise in the center of a custom made 18 k yellow gold heavy setting with lots of side diamonds/bling. The setting was made for that diamond back in 1999. Last October I replaced my marquise/ring with the solitaire I have now due to a tiny chip I found in my marquise. My marquise had come loose on several occasions as well, and I was ready for a more simplified setting for maintenance reasons. It was such a soIid and heavy setting (25 grams), so when I would knock it into something the ring would not spin or move, so in turn the diamond absorbed all of the shock and would come loose and eventually got chipped. I am thankful for insurance! I never really thought I'd have to use it, but I did.
Well, my 3 stone is still for sale. I do love it, as the diamonds are so lively and beautiful. Sometimes I find it tricky to wear rings on both hands, as I am always running around at work, at home, with the kiddos, etc. and I am afraid of damaging one of them. Sometimes I just want a "free" hand. Am I crazy or do any of you ever feel the same way?
