Given that I now have a piece of jewelry made by an artist on the other said of the country from me and I can't just drive to where ever and have it inspected every so often, I would like to get a loupe so I can learn how to check the condition of my stones etc. myself.
Is there anything specific I need to look for and/or stay away from in terms of quality when purchasing a small loupe?
