after searching high and low I have found this diamond

http://www.whiteflash.com/princess/Princess-cut-diamond-2361972.htm

I was wondering if maybe you folks can help me find something better? Certified(pref AGS) Princess 1ct.: G or better, VS2 or better, excellent to ideal polish and symmetry and thin to slightly thick gridle. UNDER 5000

GOT ANY SUGGESTIONS?

One you might want to consider...

THANKS,

thats a great suggestion.

you guys see any other CHOICES out there?

www.jamesallen.com has some nice pricess cut diamonds also.

Both the ones linked so far look like top end diamonds.

did you check the ''pricescope your diamond'' search for ''in house'' stones?
you might want to consider going down to ''h'' color and si1-2 clarity as well.

Thanks for the help!

How much difference is there in G to H/I?

I think from learning a little more about diamonds (or lack there of?) has made me a little picky on what I want exactly? Is there a real noticable difference between those colors? I dont want a yellow diamond!

princess cuts aren''t my best area but iv been looking at em.
G is fine for just about anyone and Id stay above H
there are eyeclean si1 princess cuts out there but there are a lot more of them that aren''t. Myself id stick to vs1 or vs2.

there is a slight difference from ''g'' to ''h'' and moreso to ''i''. diamonds come with color grades for a reason but the good news is, they are graded face down (on the bottom, non-sparkly side) so you may be able to see color from the side but not so much in the ''face up'' (normal) viewing position. a well cut and properly graded diamond will face up quite white. some people cannot see any difference in color. either way, you won''t have a yellow diamond (again, as long as it is well cut and graded properly). the faceting (making sparkles) will hide color and inclusions extremely well.
