Looking at V strong Fluroscence. I am pretty worried about the blue hue or haze in the sun as my area is sunny most of the time...

Doesnt this look a bit hazy or milky? or this is normal for any v strong flur diamond?

Hi, I am in Brisbane. I can't really tell because you are waving it around, you need to zoom in a lot and hold it still, focus and then maybe move it slowly back and forth. Was it like that when you got it? Generally Brian Gavin Blue diamonds have been selected by them because the blue enhances the diamonds it should not make them cloudy or milky in any way. Have you given the stone a good clean recently?

unfortunately thats not my video. just v concerned aft seeing the diamond n quite worried if i can get a decent one with v strong blue fluro... if its really frm BG... not sure how it will be under the sun.
 
I think you have to be prepared for a very strong fluorescent diamond to look quite different in sunlight. Even if milkiness is not pronounced, the blue glow tends to darken the tone of the stone visually. Many people quite like this effect.

One way to tell if a stone has a transparency issue is to see if it has the same amount of sparkle in sunlight as it does in spot lighting that has lower amounts of UV. The milkiness will make the stone less "crisp" and brilliance will be diminished. You would expect a well cut round to be throwing alot of intense flashes in bright sunlight.

Hi all, thanks for the video. hmm some of them i have seem them already but they r not really with very strong fluroscence.. n i personally feel that the OEC makes the diamond looks more sparkly than a h&A diamonds... from what i see frm the video. i havent see them in person before. hehe

there was an 4c OEC H color with medium blue Fl that was awesome and the video showed the color of the stone in certain lighting had a blue color hue....and was sold to a PSr by JewelsByEricaGrace but since they split the video is not available and don't recall who bought it. It was an awesome stone though. The fl. gave it so much personality.
