I have a sleeper sofa that I wanted to get reupholstered, but after the sticker shock am thinking about just getting a slip cover for it. Any recommendations for a good brand of slipcover that stays in place and wears well?

I have a Surefit slipcover on my loveseat, and I think its great! It was really cheap, (like $100 I think?) very easy to maintain. I just throw it in the wash every once in a while and vacuum in between washes. No problems yet, and we have had it for 3 years. With crazy dogs, btw.

Hope that helps.

Does Ikea have any that would fit your couch? Two friends of mine have purchased from there. They like the ones from there because they''re inexpensive and so it''s fun to switch them around. Sometimes you can even find them on sale.

There''s also a great company called Bemz who make slipcovers JUST for Ikea sofas - including the out of production ones.
