Anyone think I can get slightly better than this?

I''m looking at a stone that I saw at ERD, physically with my own eyes.

price is $2,600, scores a 2.4 on HCA.

I don''t have an idealscope image yet, but I took a look at it when I was there myself anyway.

I like the stone, and I''m sure I''d have no problem with it on an e-ring. Even though it''s an EX cut, it''s not H&A quality. On the idealscope trainer images, I''d say it was a very good. Does anyone think I''d be able to get an ideal cut at the same size for similiar, or slightly more cost? I want to get people''s opinions before I call Gary and make him do all sorts of hard work for me.

0.8 on the HCA, $2717 with PS discount but you'd have to call to see if its eye-clean.

WF H 0.81 ACA

Though honestly, if you like the stone you've seen why not go with it? Is this a mind-clean issue? Would you feel better with an ACA?

To be honest it's really a feel-good issue. I'm literally kicking myself over here for being so stupid about this.

It seems difficult to get a .8 that's really well cut in an SI1 clarity, while still keeping the G color. I think im just going to pull the trigger.
