Not in a cushion, but kind of reminds me of facet patterns I've seen in OEC's. Do you have a picture?
 
Wow weird. I'd love to see the stone that matches that. It would be very busy though.
 
How such a diamond would look in real life would depend and vary greatly on how well it is proportioned for that particular fecating pattern. It has a been chance of making a larger stone more sparkly, but in a diamond below 1 carat likely won't add anything much no matter how well it is proportioned. All those added facets will diminish the large, chunky light return of an old cut cushion. Definitely such a diamond has the potential to appear different than a standard cut especially when it is a large stone.
 
I would guess it would look something like a portuguese cut.

Unfortunately its only a 1.25, i, si 1, I have attached the screenshot for reference, looks very interesting.

Hi Sprakly,
It is rare to see any old cuts with a single facet different that a modren round brilliant except for the culet. If there is a variance it will generally be fewer not more facets.
The proportions vary, and shape, but not number of facets.

Dave is right - this many facets will cause a loss of scintillation in smaller sizes. at 10ct it could be starting to look great if the proportions were right.
