I received this from my mother recently. She did not know anything about it. It's marked 14K (looks like rose gold) and the Chinese characters mean international or something similar. My local small-town jeweler thinks the pinkish-purple stone is synthetic alexandrite. (it's coming out blue in my iphone pictures, not sure why). I'm most intrigued by the metalwork and haven't been able to find anything similar online. Anyone have any ideas or comments?
