Anyone seen a blue sapphire ring with blue sapphire halo?

Hey all, I'm in the process of designing a halo ring around a blue sapphire. I've seen pics of blue sapphire surrounded by diamonds or white sapphire, and visa versa, but never seen a blue sapphire surrounded by a blue sapphire halo. Does anyone have such a ring? Or ever seen one? Just wondering how that might look, whether it might be a viable option to make a ring a bit more unique. I've seen some all diamond halos where the center stone sort of melts into the halo, and it just looks seamless and pretty - wondering whether the same effect could be achieved with all blues?

I think the problem might be colour matching the sapphires.
I just did 2 sort of mock ups.
The little blue ones are actually Tanzanite, though a close colour to the sapphire. I think it’s a bit dark and flat.
The little pink ones are Tourmalines, I think this is more attractive.

I like this ring, the halo doesn't stand out due to oxidation/blackened effect which cuts the repetitive blueness...........would be nice to see it in WG for comparison. I'd (personally) remove the shank gems....

Actually they have a lot of rings with coloured melee halos. I wouls look through their collection thuroughly to get an idea.

I think even if it's not an exact match blue it would still look unique. Like if it's a few shades lighter or a few shades darker it may look pretty interesting too

What about yellow sapphire melee surrounding your blue sapphire? Just that I'm not sure how small you can go with sapphire melee... Beyonce's blue-on-blue is definitely interesting!

Pink sapphire melee might look pretty with a blue sapphire, too. I wonder how Montana sapphires in a pretty blue-green shade might look as melee with a cornflower or royal blue stone as well. I really like CS melee in halos!

Ooh those are interesting, and also I notice that there is a diamond or metal halo (???) in between the main gem and the next halo that is the 'same' main stone colour?

Beyonce's ring is KILLING me! So beautiful! The one whitewave posted is also gorgeous. There is a green-blue sapphire with halo that I keep seeing lately but right now I can't remember where. I will have to look for it.

Full disclosure..I don't post often and am the typical lurker. I do love to see all of the interesting projects people have going on. I love your idea of the blue halo. I think a purple melee would look pretty awesome too. I have been hunting around for a sapphire for my engagement ring (yeah, sorry..I'm a cliche') and stumbled on this double halo beauty:

The colors work well together so maybe you could do purple for the halo. It does make a statement...maybe more of a statement than you want to make but hey it's something. I can't wait to see what you come up with.
